Nature
I rape you and I kill you
but you don't ask for anything
I walk in your most sacred place
and leave my sin throughout your soul
You dazzle and amaze with pigments and paints
but I don't care to notice
You are more sustainable than time
but I reject your naked spirit
I hear the silence of your sunsets
I feel the thumping of your growing moon
I hear the trumpets of wind in your leaves
I smell the Spring rain mixed with your dirt
Your essence sits deep inside me
but I repress it with my youth
In every rain drop and in my blood
rests your wisdom of the universe
So I listen to the rustling of leaves
the buzzing of bees at picnic retreats
I watch trees like they are sacred men
facing their deep-rooted fears
I see the essence of living in a rainbow
I taste the blood of your womb
I see your power dancing through me
And I eat the oyster of your soul
For you are in me
pushing to show I exist
and I am in you
wishing I could resist
