Two suns out my window

Two suns outside window
My son asleep on my lap
A sun cloud embraces the plane
Earth's landscape lost in some sun haze

The ether
Or the skies plus land and space
Or whatever it is
Seems as tranquil
As Emerson's essay On Nature

My son asleep so peacefully
And I, the transparent eyeball
Feeling his chest move up and down
With each breath
While the plane rocks back and forth
With each gust

The little sun pocket
Holds close to heart
Pockets my soul
In incessant nurture
As the transparent eyeball
Of existence
Fuses to mine

I'm a piece of universe floating in space
As two suns rise
One son sleeps
One man sits watching for what role of universe he plays.
